PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL WORKSHOP SCHEDULED FOR GUEMES FERRY
Commissioners seek comments, questions on Ferry Operations Management Analysis

The public is invited to attend a workshop regarding the Guemes Island Ferry on Thursday, January 30, 2003 at the Guemes Island Community Hall at 7549 Guemes Island Road. The meeting is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The workshop is intended to give the users of the Guemes Island Ferry System a final opportunity to provide comments regarding the nearly completed Guemes Island Ferry Operations Management Analysis. The document is scheduled for completion by February 28, 2003.

The workshop will provide an opportunity for Skagit County Commissioners to hear thoughts and answer questions. County staff will provide copies of the draft Guemes Island Ferry Operations Management Analysis report.
